What is the compliance module?
The compliance module is where you can easily view your company's compliance overview and status, as well as where you can easily navigate to your company's legal requirements.
What does the Compliance Module offer?
List of legal requirements
In order to ensure your company is meeting all of its legal obligations, you can access the list of legal requirements that are applicable to your company based on its location and activities. Additionally, you are always able to access the full text of legislation for information purposes.
Compliance Tasks
After completing your Applicability Analysis, and reviewing your Legal Requirements for your Facility, you can create a Compliance Plan to help your Facility meet its legal requirements. The Compliance Module produces suggested tasks related to your legal requirements. These tasks are designed to assist you in creating a compliance plan to better manage your compliance.
Compliance Module Dashboard
After navigating to the Compliance Module on CleanChain, you will be able to view your Compliance Dashboard. This is where you can access an overview of your company’s compliance status based on completed compliance tasks.
Applicability Analysis:
What is Applicability Analysis?
The Applicability Analysis tool consists of various questions that cover certain domains of law and legal categories.
These questions are designed to ensure that we provide you with a site-specific list of legal requirements which only includes the legislation which is applicable to your site's location and your site operations.
Why should I complete my Applicability Analysis?
It is important that you complete the Applicability Analysis as the Applicability Analysis tool provides the Compliance Module with the information required to build a site-specific and section-specific list of legal requirements. By filling out and completing your Applicability Analysis you will get a more accurate and site-specific library of law.
What happens if I don’t fill out my Applicability Analysis?
If you do not complete your Applicability Analysis, you will receive too much legislation and will potentially have a law that does not apply to you.
How is my context brief related to the tasks that I receive?
Your compliance tasks and the answers that we receive from your submitted Applicability Analysis are directly linked. The Applicability Analysis is the important step to ensure that you receive an accurate legal library that is applicable to your operation. Your Applicability Analysis answers determine which compliance tasks that you will receive. If you don’t fill out your context brief you may receive irrelevant tasks.
Do I need to be a lawyer to complete the context brief?
No. The questions in your context brief have been kept really simple and easy to understand. The context brief is to understand your site better so that we can provide you with an accurate library of law.

Legal Requirements
What are my legal requirements?
This is a list of all your legal requirements faced by your organisation, which are compiled according to its location, legal jurisdictions, and operational activities. Your list of legal requirements is compiled and refined after completion of the Applicability Analysis
Are my legal requirements kept up to date?
Yes. Every time a legal requirement is updated, you will receive an in-app prompt that will show you what legal requirement has been changed.
You can also check the Updates tab and turn on the email notifications for a daily or monthly update of your legal requirements.

Can I view the full piece of law on the Compliance Module?
Yes, you can.
How does the Compliance Module know what sections of law apply to me?
The Compliance Module uses the Applicability Analysis tooling to ensure that you receive only the legal requirements that apply to your organization. This is why it is very important that you complete all the questions in your applicability analysis.

Tasks
What are compliance tasks?
Compliance tasks are auto-generated tasks that are created to assist you with creating a compliance plan to better manage your compliance. These tasks are linked to your legal requirements and are thus aligned with your legal obligations.
You can also create your own tasks in the compliance module
Can I export my tasks?
Yes, you can.
Why can’t I configure tasks?
If you find that you cannot configure tasks, it means that you do not have administrator permissions. If you need to get administrator permissions, please email appsupport@adec-innovations.com
How often should I check for new tasks?
Compliance Tasks are linked to your legal requirements. If legal requirements change, then you should check your compliance tasks to see if there are any new tasks available for you.
