CleanChain's Product Library features adding products with a manufacturer to complete your inventory.
All public products in CleanChain can be viewed in the Products Library.
The Product Library also has a filter section to manage your viewing options.

01/ Viewing Product Library
- Click Chemical on the left navigation menu.
- Click Product Library.
The image below is an example of the Product Library page.
Products with special characters on their name are listed first followed by the alphabetical order.
02/ Using the filter
- Filter a product using the following filter options.
- Click the drop-down to select one or more Certification Standards.
- Click Ok.
Note: Only organizations connected to Gateway can view ZDHC Certifications. - Select a product type.
03/Adding a product
a) To the Product Library
- Click

You will be directed to the Add Product page. - Click Chemical on the left navigation pane.
- Click Product Library.
i) Uploading via SDS
- Upload the English version of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of the product by choosing or dragging a file.
The details from the SDS fill out the Information from SDS and Matched Product.
If the product uploaded matched the product information shown in Matched Product, go to Step 2.
If you want to create a new product from the SDS, go to Step 3. - Click Accept Match to Public Product if the product shown is matched.
The SDS is automatically attached to the product matched. - Add a country in the Information from SDS section. (Optional)
- Click Search for Match to match a product.
- Click Create New Private Product if the product was not matched.
The product is successfully added.
ii) Manually entering a product
To manually enter the product information, hover to the Manually Enter Product Information section.
- Fill out the product details.
- Make sure the product name does not match any other name.
- Click Create New Private Product.
The product is successfully added.
b) To the Inventory
- Click Chemical.
- Click Inventory.
- Click Add New Inventory.
- Select a date.
- Select an inventory type.
To learn about inventory types, click here. - Click Add Product.
- Fill out the fields.
Note: As you search, you can trim or shorten the product and manufacturer name to display more possible matches.
There are three sources to choose a product from.
- My Inventory Products ( Products you have added to your Library )
- ZDHC Gateway Library ( Products published on ZDHC Gateway )
- Other Third-Party Providers
- All Products ( Products available in CleanChain and ZDHC Gateway)
Note: If you cannot find the product from either My Inventory Products or ZDHC Gateway Library, select All Products. - Click Search.
Note: Make sure to click the Search button.
There are three options to select a product.i) Adding to the Product Library
Refer to a) To the Product Library.
ii) Selecting from the options
Product Name - name of the product you might be looking for
Last Updated Date - the last date a product was updated
Commodity Name - another name of the product
Source - where the product is found
Score - Screened Chemistry score of the product
Formulator Name - the product's formulator name
Formulator Country - the country of the formulator
Certification(s) - the certification information available of the product - Make sure to check all the information to ensure that you are choosing the right product.
- Select a product.
- Click Select.
iii) Adding from the Inventory
- Type the Product Name and Formulator Name.
- Click Add to Library.
You will be directed to the Product Library> Add Product page.
- Refer to a) To the Product Library.
